Comment: One of the Guy I would have liked to see on stage, but unfortunately you left too soon.
Loose such a men, such a talent ...

I felt the same when we lost Freddy Mercury or Ayrton Senna, those exceptionnal people who knew to give us so much.
Respect and Love.
See you later ...

Comment: TOTO, nice name, nice band, nice song saya kurang begitu tau banyak band TOTO awal saya dengar lagunya tahun 1995, tapi setelah saya dengar beberapa lagu ..wowww...fantastis beautiful song!! lea, 99, melanie, africa, and etc semua enak untuk didengar easy listening! dan bahkan dinegara saya khususnya indonesia banyak BAND yg ter-inspirasi terhadap TOTO. Toto adalah band yg soaialis and humanis klo dilihat dari lyrik dan judul, maybe " The porcaro family " yg tetap membuat band ini hidup... viva and bravo TOTO.
DEDICATED TO :" JEFF PORCARO "

Comment: For me Jeff was - and is - The Drummer. No one could lay down a solid groove like him, make it flow like nothing else... He wasn`t a flashy show-off, but the way he made the songs "live their lives" is priceless - man, I still get tears in my eyes when I hear his playing, it`s so genious and good!
He was the man that made me start drumming twenty years ago, and a drummer-friend of mine promised me the day I managed to play the Rosanna-groove flawless. I think he`s forgotten the money-deal, but every time I can I play that groove...especially at sound checks, my humble way to tribute a great musician in his right enviroment. God Bless you Jeff, we miss you...long time no groove...

Comment: I am a massive TOTO fan and more than anything would have loved to have seen Jeff in concert. I wonder how many other TOTO fans in Australia still regret not travelling and seeing TOTO in concert while Jeff was still the drummer.

Comment: I first heard about Jeff Porcaro about 5 years ago...since then, I became appreciative of TOTO's music. I think he's a one of a kind drummer. Simon Philips is a great drummer too, but there is only one Jeff Porcaro.

I love TOTO!! question: what does "99" mean? (the song title). anybody who can answer that? :) plz..:)

Comment: I first heard about Jeff Porcaro passing while reading the liner notes on my Essentials Album. I am very sorry to hear of this loss. I too was inspired to be a drummer because of him. And even though I did not continue drumming because of work and family obligations, I still have that stirring in my soul that I got when first heard Jeff play the drums.

I am glad that the band is alive and well and it would be a crying shame for you to stop making music. Keep going for the sake of Jeff and for all your hardcore-loyal fans out here!!

Long Live Jeff and Long Live TOTO!!

Comment: The world lost a great man, the world lost a great drummer. Toto is the reason why i started to play the drums, Jeff inspired me in life, he still inspires me, hes never really gone, hes in the sounds, the music, our hearts.

Keep up the good work Toto and may Jeff rest in peace. Thanks for all the great music you guys create, you are my lifestyle...

Comment: My first memories of Jeff's drumming was actually before Toto on his work with Steely Dan, Jackson Browne, & Boz Scaggs.

I was 17 when the 1st Toto album came out and have been a fan ever since. Although I regret not getting to see them for a long time, I was fortunate enough to see Toto in 1980 at Auburn University-Montgomery on the Hydra Tour and again in 1982 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome to get to see Jeff live twice!

When Jeff passed away, we all lost both a great drummer and a great man. I cannot imagine how difficult it was for the guys to finish Kingdom Of Desire, but I am grateful that they did and continue to make wonderful music. I am grateful that Simon has continued on the work Jeff started...

But there is a void in the music world and a pain that does not go away. Jeff brought a spirit, a feeling to songs and played in such a way that it captured my attention. I am grateful for all of the wonderful songs Jeff touched and am amazed that his legacy continues and his legend grows.

Long live Toto and may Jeff rest in peace...

Patrick
