Comment: How can i describe sheer love? TOTO is the band that opened my eyes to what proper music is. it was 1982 and i was 10 years old. i never left them since. Jeff played a major part in creating the sound of the most amazing and balanced blend of musicians that graced our ears. they simply are the soundtrack of my life. and as a drummer alone, Jeff was in a class of its own, in style, sound and choice of patterns.
Simon is possibly the best substitute ever, but Jeff created all that simon is brilliantly playing today. No end in sight, you promised!!! forever with you Alex.

Comment: I has the privilege to see Jeff playing with toto in 1980 at The orpheum Theater in Boston , I was going to sachool at berklee college of music , his energy and power drove the band to an incredible climax and soft dinamics, I was really impressed .Later on I saw him at the Baket potatoe in L.A. with The Lobotommys, with lukather, I remember the players ask him to take a drum solo and he refused to do so, he had the chops but he choose to saty behind as a rhythm machine. I was really great.
