Comment: As I drummer myself, I know first hand how incredible Jeff was. God knows I tried playing some of the stuff he did. Saw Jeff only once, August 1976 with the rest of Toto who were playing with Boz Scaggs atthe time. Foxboro Stadium, what a show. Boz, Fleetwood Mac, Joe Walsh and then the Eagles!! I think I enjoyed Boz the most. God Bless you Jeff, you'll live on forever in our hearts. Your hometown state of Connecticut especially.

Comment: Hi,
I'm Fabien, from Belgium. I remember the first time I ear Jeff... It's on "Rosana", I was 15 years old, I begining playing bass at this time! and I play drums from some years. And when I ear Jeff, I say:"Woah.. ! It's impossible to play this on drums !" Well today, so many drummer can play all the pattern of Jeff, but he was really the only one best grooveman I never ear today.
Good Road Jeff, and see you next time on the groove's paradise.
Bye bye,

Comment: Hey Jeff,

I have always loved your musicianship, your warmth as a person. I often think of you and most days are reminded how talented you are, your very recognisable drumming style is still blasting out on radio ie Boz Scaggs, Christopher Cross, Toto, Madona, Michael Jackson, Dire Straights, Warren Zevon.. Legend

Comment: Happy Birthday Jeff. You will never be forgotten. The music that you helped inspire, the grooves so infectious, they linger on. For you, its as if the drumset is a canvas and with each stroke a masterpiece is created. Thanks for the inspiration.

Comment: I had the pleasure of playing with Jeff at Bill Schnee studios. Jeff was warming up and I remember how unique the sounds that he was producing with his drums were. I can't ever recall a drummer that wrote melody with his drums. Rosanna is a song that is most recognised at the begging where it is just Jake. I miss him so much and I know his brothers in the band do as well. We never know how a death of a friend will effect our lives and I know that it has not been easy for the boys but they are all doing well. Miss you Jeff and we all will see you again someday.
