Comment: Dear Jeff

In November 2004, I cried to you: "Take me out of London". And YOU DID IT! Tomorrow I am leaving this ugliness, this horrible place. I am going home, home to a beautiful city built on the prophecy of a princess. This seems unreal as I am typing these words. You are still a miracle-maker, you the unseen genius. The world cannot understand what I am saying. Only I know. YOU DID IT! YOU DID IT! Tomorrow I will have the "world at my feet": the city that made Mozart happy, that recognized his genius. You are so powerful, you are a god now. Thank you for taking me out of here and bringing me back to my heart.

You were always elegant, stylish: the Porcaro Family is a House of Style anyway. Something Italian that comes up even after generations in America.

Thank you, genius. It is really happening. The world at my feet.

Comment: Jeff was my husband's (Doug Brown) drumming hero and now, I'm sure he is comparing notes with him in Heaven. Jeff's my hero too and I am so glad that you have this up in his memory. I have always said that almost any song that I have ever liked listening too has ended up with him on drums and was because he was on drums. He just had the groove, the taste, and the feel that no one else did or will. Thanks for the musical gifts!

Comment: Looking through the messages I'm reminded even more of the sheer brilliance of the great man. Rosanna and that feel, its something you can't learn, the sitting in the pocket until he just comes out of nowhere and smacks you in the chops! And as for the song Never Enough from the Kingdom of Desire Album, I've got a 4 year old son who sings along to that with me full on, flat out, he loves the song because of the drums, it transcends generations, thanks Jeff, thanks Toto.

Comment: hey! we are Toto Fans from more than twenty years. I am Fochi, from spain, and I met Toto thanks to my brother, who made me to listen to one "weird" disc more than ten years ago: the album was Hydra. From that, I have listened to Toto´s all albums.

We have bought our tickets for the concert in Madrid, and weare so excited about that, because it is the first Toto concert in Spain!

We will meet you in La Riviera: me, my brother and my girlfriend, who has started to listen your albums... and she loves too!

I think that Simon Philips was the best choice to take the place that Jeff left. He is an excellent drummer and he can perform all the Toto´s themes as goos as the best. But Jeff Porcaro was a legend, and nobody can deny that. we all miss you, Jeff.

My brother Paco says that you are incredible, and Greg Phillinganes is one of the best choices that you should have take to improve your fantasic band.

Best regard for all of you and all the Toto Fans!

PD: Do not be afraid when you come to Madrid, we are not "at war", we are only "repairing" and "improving" the city... our Major is like a "mole" that digs our city without any mercy.....

PDPD: we have one of the best beers of the world... you have lost so many years not coming to Spain....!

Comment: TOTO came to my home town, Jackson Mississippi, on the heals of their 1st Album. It was a great show, even though it was a very small crowd. Security was minimal, so I worked my way back stage. There he was in all his glory, the legendary Jeff Porcaro. He was wearing a full length white rabbit fur coat and 3" stilted boots. What style! And man...could he paly those drums. He was an extremely talented guy and he is missed.

Comment: just a message to say what a great drummer jeff was, lucky to see Toto once in london i'll never forget it,its a shame that many young and upper coming drummers will never see a true drummer play the jeff did,he made it look so easy, the only bonus is his vidoes.
