Comment: Never having met Jeff, I don't have any memories as such. However, some of the tracks he played on, with and without Toto, recall some of the happiest times of my life. Christmas has got to be tough for the family, so a Merry Christmas to them and to all Jeff fans around the world!

Comment: In the 80's I was at a NAMM show with my future wife, and we went into a tent, in the middle of the convention floor, that was about 10' x 10'. Inside was Jeff and the rest of Toto! Jeff was showing off this ten year old black kid who he thought was the greatest drummer in the world :). He was just beaming as the kid played. It was amazing to hear these guys perform, and really cool to see Jeff being so supportive of this kid ( who really was good ! ).

It was quite a moment. Thanks Jeff.

Comment: I pulled out some old 45's today. Among them was the Oscar winning 'Arthur's Theme.' I couldn't help but tear up listening to your all-familiar, unique and memorable drumming style. You were gold, man. Then I came across the track Moodido from the 1984 LA Olympic Games soundtrack. That song still gives me chills. Absolutely amazing! I saw you for the first time at the Park West in Chicago around the time the 1st Toto album was released. I'll never forget that show. The crowd wouldn't let you leave, even after you ran out of Toto songs. You and the band were fantastic! By the way, you would be proud of your buddy Luke and his son Trevor. They are making unbelievable music these days! Your legend lives on and always will. Rock on, my friend.

Comment: I don't think there is a drummer out there that can say that when he/she heard Rosanna for the first time didn't say to themselves, I need to learn that groove, it was the most amazing groove ever and still is...I remember listening to that song in early 83 and it still brings back all those memories of my childhood and my development as a drummer. Jeff had a huge impact on my drumming and still does. It's amazing how even after 30 years of playing, I still get the urge to listen to a Toto CD and play along with the master and still get blown away with his incredible musicianship......Jeff was never a player but a musician at heart.....here's to you Jeff.....Cheers
