WAYBILL, FEE

One of Steve Lukather's best friends. Waybill was the lead-singer of The Tubes, known for hits as "She is a beauty" and "Talk to you later". These hits and some others were (co)written by Lukather, who also wrote several songs for Waybill's solo-album "Read my lips" (1984). Fee Waybill joined forces with Toto on "Kingdom of desire", writing "Never enough" with Steve Lukather and on "Tambu" sharing credits with Paich and Lukather for "Time is the enemy". Recently Lukather and Waybill teamed up for Waybill's second solo-album "Don't be scared by these hands" (1996), recorded "Walk this way" for an Aerosmith tribute album and wrote "Loveline" for the most recent The Tubes album ("Tubes World Tour 2001") with Richard Marx.
