"SONG FOR JEFF"
This last song on Steve's Lukather "Candyman"
album was instrumentally inspired by => Jeff Beck (one of Lukather's
heroes), but was written for Jeff Porcaro. Lukather: "With this song I
tried to show my love for both Jeff's. We recorded it on April 1st (Jeff
Porcaro's birthday). The studio walls were covered with his pictures of
Jeff. We had blacklights and incense... and recorded the song in one take,
100% live."
