LODGIC

Lodgic was a band featuring Michael and Billy Sherwood (of Yes) produced by Steve Porcaro and David Paich:

Lodgic was originally myself (Michael Sherwoord), Jimmy Haun on guitars, Gary Starnes on drums and Mike Hulsey on keyboard. Keyboard man Guy Allison joined later. Billy joined at the age of 16 in 1981. We hired him to play bass because we thought our bass player was playing too busy, and Billy at the time wasn't good enough to play busy! He played foundation kind of stuff, which we liked. Steve Porcaro and David Paich (of Toto fame) had produced Lodgic, and we opened some dates with Supertramp. Lodgic eventually became Billy's vision, which then evolved to World Trade and then to his involvement with Yes. Billy hooked up with Bruce Gowdy and Guy Allison from Lodgic and formed World Trade."

On a side note, Michael Sherwood also mentions:
...when Steve Porcaro left Toto in '86, I continued a writing relationship with Steve, and we had some luck getting a song recorded by Michael Jackson (never released)" (Notes from the Edge #214, march 1999)
