FAHRENHEIT, MEANING OF
Fahrenheit is the scale of temperature measurement used in The United
States, unlike the rest of the world that uses Celsius. A brief synopsis of
the Fahrenheit system compared to Celsius: where water freezes at 0 degrees
Celsius, that reading would be 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, where water
boils at 100 degrees C, the same reading is 212 degrees Fahrenheit. The
degree span ratio is 5:9, that is: a span of 5 degrees Celsius is the
same span of 9 Fahrenheit degrees.
